JENNINGS

SONGWRITER, PERFORMER, MUSICIAN

ABOUT JAYNA
Online distributers and social media make it easy to release music essentially from an iPhone, and seeking success in the music industry is not an uncommon dream, but nobody’s doing it like Jayna Jennings. As singles become a driving force in the Nashville scene, Jennings took a risk and released a full length, completely immersive, album called Southern Gothic Romance, with music videos for each song, and… it worked.
At the beginning of 2023, Jennings was giving acoustic performances at state parks and coffee shops, recording her album a couple hours at a time between jobs, and only had 1,000 followers, but after she started releasing singles in anticipation of this album, her following grew to 60,000 in a matter of months, her performances went from coffee shops to sold out shows, festival performances, and ticketed events. By the end of 2023, Jennings had stood in the iconic circle at the Grand Ole Opry house before even playing a show on Broadway, and her song 10:43 is what put her there as she accepted song of the year at the Josie Music Awards. She accepted the honor of Vocalist of the Year that same night, which is a testament to her hard work as she performed over 136 shows in 2023 despite being in vocal therapy after an extensive sinus surgery. She has continued training at Jan Smith Studios with Diane Sharp.
She played her first show on Broadway at AJ’s Good Time Bar and fell even more in love with the Nashville scene. Jennings has performed in incredible venues across the south east such as the Velvet Underground at the Hard Rock Cafe, the Bijou Theater, Eddie’s Attic, Museum of Appalachia, Canyon Center Amphitheater, Rhea County Courthouse, and more. Jennings and her band headlined Pigs and Peaches adjacent Charley Reynolds and Drake Milligan on the Luzianne Tea main stage.
For her fans, her song 10:43 is a massively beloved song, and is quickly becoming a favorite amongst the radio stations that have added the song to airplay rotation. Jennings has no intention of slowing down and will continue to take the music industry by storm in 2024.

PHILOSOPHY

“Songwriting for me is how I process my life- it’s how we find out that we aren't so different from each other. I make music to spread hope- to be a part of self-discovery, and the soundtrack to healing.”
